Customer Service Representative- Payment Processing

Onsite Position 1000 Stewart Avenue, Glen Burnie, MD
Up to $20/hr
Shift Monday- Friday ~8AM-5PM (some slight flexibility to move that earlier/later
The Customer Service Rep will handle all lockbox inquiries and issues that are received via telephone, case system or email. This position is considered a production-oriented position, which includes adherence to Client based service level agreement goals.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivation to work under minimal supervision while mastering tasks that may strictly defined procedures as well as others that require outside of the box problem solving
- Ability to handle multiple task assignments concurrently
- Attention to detail
- Proficient time management skills
- Ability to self-manage deadlines to prescribed service level agreements
- Ownership of inquiry/issue case assignment and resolution from start to finish
- Proficient in PC skills and Outlook, Word and Excel
- Detail oriented while completing financial inquiries and case notes
- Strong verbal communications and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Ability to lift 10- 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED
Good to know:
- Experience in a Wholesale / Retail lockbox environment
- Banking experience
- Position is 50% seating
- Salesforce experience beneficial
- Perform research on client reported errors and provide information to production managers
- Process adjustments to resolve financial impact errors as needed
- Process all foreign item conversions that are received into Lockbox
- Work with production management and applicable technical support groups to resolve client issues/inquiries as applicable
- Communicate via telephone and/or email error resolution updates to client as applicable
- Update case specifics in the error repository application as cases are closed
- Provide daily error reporting details to production management
- Provide monthly error reporting details to production management
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or directed by production management
