Maintenance TechnicianMid America Agri Products/Wheatland in Madrid, Nebraska, is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician. Job Requirements:-Responsible for preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum plant performance. -Have a strong emphasis on mechanics, piping, welding, hydraulics, basic understanding of electrical equipment, pumps and pneumatics. -Assist in the development and implementation of plant safety programs and policies. -Support all company policies, goals, and objectives and represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner.-Must be able to lift 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, climb stairs and ladders and work in various types of weather conditionsQualifications:-High school diploma or equivalent required-Requires a driver's license-Be able to operate utility vehicle-Must be hard working and self-motivated-Detail-oriented; proficiency for accuracy; dependable; positive attitude; team player-Ability to multi-task and take ownership of assigned projects-Good communication skills, both written and verbal-Ethanol experience preferred, will train the right candidateWe offer highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
