Job Summary:

At Home Services For Independent Living is seeking Independent Contractors for Companion & Skilled Care in Sag Harbor, New York. This is a Health/Companion Care roll. As an Independent Contractor, you will have the opportunity to provide valuable services to clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a flexible position that allows you to set your own schedule and earn a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $40, paid weekly directly by the client. This is not a W-2 agency check. Once connected with the client, you will be free to schedule your own hours and manage your salary directly with the client. Contractor positions are available on a per diem or ongoing basis. You set your own pace!

Responsibilities:

- Provide companion care to clients in their homes, assisting with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
- Provide skilled care to clients with medical needs, following care plans and administering medication as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Prior experience in companion or skilled care preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations with composure.
- Must have a warm and compassionate personality and a genuine desire to help others.
