Business Analyst - Hybrid (Secret Clearance Required)

Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business requirements from stakeholders. Analyze and document these requirements clearly and comprehensively.

Business Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes and identify areas for improvement. Create detailed process maps and workflows to illustrate existing and proposed processes.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.

Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Create reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.

Solution Design: Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and propose solutions that meet business requirements. Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams. Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure mutual understanding and successful project outcomes.

Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business needs. Document and track issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.

Project Management: Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new processes and systems. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and systems. Propose and implement enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) is a plus.

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is desirable.

Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
