Administrative Assistant (Power Plant Outage)

Duration:

Will start Mid August and work through end of may. Fall Outage is Oct 15th-Dec19th and Spring Outage is Jan 18th-March 23rd. They will be remote work or a break for holidays and then close out and additional work that is identified which will last through May.

This person will work 12 hour shift (6-6)and will be on 13 days and 1 day off.

Job Description

A project coordinator, also known as a special projects coordinator, supports the project manager in a variety of ways to ensure a project runs smoothly:

  • Budgeting: Assist the project manager with managing the project's finances, including forecasting cash flow, allocating resources, and monitoring expenses
  • Scheduling: Create schedules and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Communication: Interact with different people and groups throughout the project, conveying clear messages, listening actively, asking questions, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts
  • Organizing project details: Keep track of deadlines, appointments, and changes to the project plan
  • Administrative task coordination: Coordinate between different departments and complete documentation as needed

Monitoring and reporting on project progress: Measure the project's progress and ensure that all parts are moving forward in a timely manner
