We are seeking a driven Accounting Manager to support our US headquarters in Houston, Texas.

About the position
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and elevating the Corporate Accounting function. You will play a pivotal role in crafting quality-driven processes and robust internal controls that will support the continued growth of the US organization. To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of accounting experience, robust knowledge of US GAAP and federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations, strong stakeholder management skills, and a focus on collaboration. This role is based out of the US HQ in Houston, TX, and reports directly to the CFO.

Additionally, your responsibilities include:

  • Spearhead the consolidation efforts of US legal entities, orchestrating seamless financial integration
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Accounts Payable team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Drive balance sheet reconsolidation and cash management
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Develop and reinforce internal controls, safeguarding company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Prepare and execute yearly audits


Required profile:

Professionally we expect that you have:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
  • Min. 5 years of proven accounting experience
  • Professional accounting certification CPA with public audit experience
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
  • Knowledge of IFRS is a big plus
