Qualifications
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
- The laundry attendant is responsible for separating, washing, chemical treating, drying, and folding all linens in the laundry areas and transporting them to necessary areas, if needed.
- Responsible for returning cleaning chemicals and any equipment used to storage areas at the end of shift.
- Responsible for completing tasks using safe work procedures and following all safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for promoting professional communication within the department and Enterprise and reports any issues to the Supervisor.
- Will be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training purposes.
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITESGeneral: Must be age 18 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Non-Gaming license.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace.
Experience: None required.
Physical: Requires stamina for constant movement of walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, repetitive motions, pushing heavy cleaning equipment, working in a warm environment, working with a variety of cleaning chemicals; must have the ability to lift 40 pounds frequently. Must possess hand and finger dexterity for using tools and equipment. Normal vision (or corrected to normal) including color acuity and depth perception and hearing.
