Desktop Support II - Weekday Night Shift - Onsite in West Jefferson, OH - W2 Only - $24-$27/HR

Shift:

  • (Weekday Night) Mon - Fri, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

    **Candidate needs to be flexible as shift will vary to align with production schedule.**

    Duration: 6-month Contract-to-hire - Will be converted to Deskside Support II once contract is completed.

    Apex Systems Inc. is currently looking for a Desktop Tech in the West Jefferson, Ohio area.

    Responsibilities
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 escalated technical issues
    • Maintain and manage workload through computerized ITSM ticketing and tracking system (ServiceNow
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues on laptops, PCs, thin clients and mobile devices
    • Use SCCM, PowerShell, Active Directory and other diagnostic and remediation utilities to identify, diagnose and correct issues
    • Support, troubleshoot and train end users on Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365 email and Outlook


    Minimum Experience Required :
    • 1+ years of experience withRF Scanners
    1+ years of Mac OS experience

    5+ years of experience as a desktop techniciansupporting networked systems and telephone equipment -*User Facing - candidate must be outgoing and able to work through solutions with users*

    Experience installing, troubleshooting and supporting corporate AV equipment, and building, deploying and troubleshooting desktop computers in a corporate environment

    It'd be great if you also have:

    Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree or vocational training in Computer Science or Management Information Systems

    Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will change from time to time to align with production schedules.
