REPORTS TO: Manager of Buildings and Grounds

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience or Training
High School Diploma or GED certificate; minimum of one (1) year previous custodial and/or maintenance experience

Desired Experience or Training
CDL classified Illinois driver's license to drive school bus; three (3) or more years of previous custodial and/or maintenance experience; equipment maintenance experience; landscaping experience

BASIC FUNCTION:
Perform custodial functions as directed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Clean and maintain classrooms, corridors, offices and stairs as directed.
2. Clean washrooms and locker rooms.
3. Set up bleachers and related athletic equipment.
4. Shovel and operate mechanical snow removal equipment.
5. Willingness to carryout bus charter assignments (If Qualified).
6. Wash exterior and/or interior glass and other areas as directed.
7. Set up and break downs for extra-curricular activities, Board meeting and all other facility usage events.
8. Clean cafeteria and lunchroom facilities.
9. Assist maintenance personnel as directed.
10. Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Manager of Buildings and Grounds and/or Night Forman.
