Carts and Range Attendant Job Details Job Location Cedars at Dungeness - Sequim, WA Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range $14.51 Hourly Job Shift Any Job Description Under the direction of the Head Golf Professional, will attend to the golf cart fleet and driving range. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
* Responsible for staging carts which includes cleaning, charging and checking carts after each use and returning carts to cart barn at the end of the day.
* Ensures that carts are available for players use at all times.
* Inspects rental clubs and dust carts daily.
* Ensures that practice range is open and ready for players in the morning and will pick, clean and fill dispensers with range balls throughout the day.
* Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments.
* Maintains thorough knowledge of the golf tournament schedule and consistently displays thorough knowledge of all upcoming events.
* Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
* Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
* Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
* Working knowledge of the etiquette of golf.
* Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations.
* Ability to work without direct supervision.
* A team player with excellent customer service skills.
* Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
* Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
* Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
* Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
* American Indian/Alaska Native preferences apply
**REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TESTING**
* Must be able to pass a background investigation.
* Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening.
* A valid Washington State driver license.
* Must be able to complete 7 Cedars Resort customer service program.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS**
* Ability and willingness to work outside for several hours in various weather conditions.
* Must be available to work any shift (to include all hours, weekends, and/or holidays as job duties require).
* Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
* Physical ability to access all areas of the property applicable to your position.
* Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing and twisting without restriction.
* Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
* Must have the ability to reach at or below/above shoulder level on a continuous basis.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with customers, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
