Job Details
The Building Service Worker assists the professional staff in cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas in the hospital and satellite areas to maintain a safe, healthy, and aseptic environment for patients, visitors, and hospital personnel. The Building Service Worker is responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical, sterilization, and cleanliness protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable and responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms and bathrooms daily, properly disposes of trash, and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures under the direct supervision of the supervisor.
- Demonstrates competency in Washington Health System Core Building Service Worker Skills and Responsibilities.
- Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System.
- Competently completes all tasks, processes, and procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Building Service Worker Skills & Responsibilities.
Department: Environmental Services
Shift: Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Rotating shifts including: 5am-1:30pm, 7a-5:30p, 9am-5:30pm, 11a-7:30p, 3pm-11:30pm, and 8:30pm-5am.
Hours Per Week: 40, Full Time
