Title: Warehouse Clerk/ Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Location: Social Circle, GA 30025
Duration: 6 months
1st Shift - 6 AM to 4:30 PM
Training will be on 1st Shift 0800-1630

- Warehouse clerk that will primarily be responsible for supporting my gowning department which will consist of inventory control, material transfer and vendor machine management.
- Their secondary responsibility will be supporting the Inventory Technician team in material transfer as well.
- This position will require gowning in and out of ISO spaces.
- Strict dress code applies.
- No makeup, no jewelry, no piercings, and no open toed or open heeled shoes will be allowed while working in Manufacturing.
Accountabilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and maintain an orderly work area.
- Conduct operations safely and in compliance with Federal Drug Administration, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation and Material Safety Data Sheets standards and company Standard Operating Procedures
- Compile records of amount, type and value of material or stock on hand
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventories.
- Compile information on receipt or disbursement of inventories and compute inventory balances.
- Communicate with internal and external customers.
- Resolve routine questions and problems.
- Handle hazardous materials.
- Complete mandatory training within required timeframe.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Behavioural Competencies and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical industry a plus.
- Proficient in speaking/reading/writing English and performing basic math.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain forklift and other material handling equipment certification.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- ERP system knowledge - SAP preferred.
Physical Demands:(Identify any physical demands required in the performance of the primary responsibilities of the position). - The position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around the cGMP facility.
- Must be capable of climbing, kneeling, stooping and frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs. up and down to head and chest level. Occasionally will lift 50 lbs.
Other requirements: - May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments.
- This may include safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hair nets and gloves and hearing protection.
