As a Procurement System Analyst, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

Job Overview:

This position has responsibility for assisting the System Admins with maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting the MMIS systems. The employee is responsible for following established policies and procedures. The employee must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform job duties.

Job Duties

Complies with the standard of employee conduct and hospital safety standards. The basic job duties an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation include:

1. Monitoring recurring, scheduled system activities

2. Building, distributing and analyzing system reports

3. Aid in lesson plan creation and act as the lead trainer

4. Supporting strategic department initiatives

5. Assist in maintaining and monitoring interfaces with other Deaconess systems

6. Assist with GHX onboarding and EDI table compliance

7. Respond and fulfill ticket requests.

8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete month-end, mid-year and yearly goals.

9. Act as a system procedure lead for mid-year and year-end inventory.

10. Support the supervisors, buyers, VAPCs, and floor captains in troubleshooting system errors and workflow barriers.

11. Work with System Admins to complete system builds and upgrade procedures

12. Participate in all projects and departmental functions that require system support.

Education and Experience

Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, Bachelor Degree (B.S.) preferred. Prefer a minimum of five years' experience in health care clinical environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
