We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Sanitation Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation across our manufacturing facility, ensuring all processes and operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant standards. This position is instrumental in upholding our commitment to product quality and safety, playing a pivotal role in the production process. The role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and direct the sanitation operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other relevant standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation SOPs and ensure adherence by all team members.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify sanitation issues or potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of sanitation workers, promoting a culture of safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to ensure sanitation procedures do not interfere with production schedules and product quality.
- Manage the use and maintenance of sanitation equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes relating to sanitation in manufacturing, and adjust procedures and practices accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, audits, and corrective actions.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any sanitation emergencies or issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation or a related role within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on GMP.
- Proven experience in supervising and managing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other relevant sanitation standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address sanitation issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various departments and levels of the organization.
- High level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using sanitation equipment and machinery.
- Relevant certification in sanitation or related field is preferred.
