Surestep is accepting applications for a part-time Customer Service Assistant. The Customer Service Assistant will support the Department in processing incoming orders to fabricate custom medical devices. This Department works closely with clinical staff and fabrication teams to generate and deliver orders to Surestep customers. The position includes broader administrative duties such as answering and directing incoming telephone calls, inventory management, and general office work.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

* Processing orders for material or merchandise received by fax, mail, telephone, email or personally from customer or company employee.

* Informing customers of prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information they may need regarding the product or ordering process.

* Answer emails from the Customer Service email inquiry system.

* Inventory management of specific product lines, which includes counting of inventory, managing stock quantities, reordering stock, and refilling stock.

* Additional responsibilities related to customer service and marketing may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

* High schol diploma, GED, or equivalent.

* Superb customer service skills.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Analytical and strong problem-solving skills.

* Strong organization and excellent time management skills.

* Proficient computer skills & knowledge.

* Ability to learn through on-the-job training and to multi-task.

* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

* Dexterity of hands to operate a computer keyboard as well as seeing to read and review materials for accuracy.

* Hearing and speaking to exchange information with customers, and other Surestep staff and the public.
