Job Details
Quantum Applications Scientist required to work with an leading quantum start up focusing on using near-term quantum hardware to develop quantum solutions in verticals ranging from machine learning, operations research, data science, chemistry, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients, business partners, collaborators, and other users of quantum computing
- Implement algorithms, develop use-cases, and create business solutions
- Manage the process end to end from concept through design to implementation
Qualifications:
- MSc or a Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics, computer science, physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of at least one of the fields of quantum machine learning, quantum optimization, and operations research
- Experience developing client-focused solutions
- Experience with quantum computing, or previous experience with applications in a relevant business sector including operations research, logistics, finance, biotech, and chemistry
