Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing evidence, coordinating witnesses, and managing documentation.
2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development and legal arguments.
3. Draft, proofread, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Maintain and manage case files, ensuring all relevant information and documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
5. Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and other case-related events.
6. Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
7. Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to our practice areas.
8. Support the team with other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining attorney calendars.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar role within the legal industry.
2. Bachelors degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
3. Proven experience in trial preparation and coordination.
4. Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and federal and state rules of legal procedure.
5. Proficient in legal research and able to analyze complex legal documents.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
