Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to work directly with physicians in an acute care/inpatient setting (ED, Cath Lab, ICU, EP lab, Step down, and OR) as well as ambulatory and ancillary areas. The successful candidate will oversee clinical research studies, collect all clinical data accurately and timely, and guide referring physicians in GCP compliance and clinical care through protocol design and awareness through education. Other duties include assisting in project initiation, coordinating study participation with other clinical care plans, and providing nursing knowledge and decision-making support to non-RN research team members seeking support. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care/cardiology, be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida, have basic life support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Advanced life support (ALS) certification and intermediate computer knowledge are preferred.
