Role Overview:

As a Discovery Clerk, you are pivotal in the defense process, managing the acquisition and organization of crucial evidentiary materials. Your role includes requesting, tracking, and obtaining police reports, videos, audio evidence, and related documents. You will be collaborating closely with supervising paralegals, lawyers, and paralegal assistants, ensuring our attorneys are equipped with the necessary information for case handling.

Location: Shelton Office

Schedule: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday. Local court travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Manage requests and tracking of various legal documents and evidence.
Coordinate with law enforcement agencies with patience and efficiency.
Work directly with internal teams for optimal information flow.
Handle coordination for release of information to successor counsel and clients.
Engage in additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate.
Small clerical duties- checking/sending out mail.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (handling legal file boxes).
Excellent writing, telephone, and language skills.
Proficient in building and maintaining online and offline relationships.
