Entry Level Customer Support Specialist (Onsite)

Location: Johnston, RI

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Hours and Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 40 hours
  • Work Schedule: Start times vary from 8 am to 3:30 pm. 8-hour shifts. One weekend day may be required, depending on Inbound or Outbound positions.

Job Description:

  • Serve as an advocate on behalf of applicants/customers to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service within the Consumer Unsecured Merchant Financing team.
  • The advocate will be responsible for explaining/offering appropriate service/support solutions and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen customer and partner relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and respond to customer inquiries by actively listening to determine their needs.
  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding credit decisions based on submitted applications.
  • Track all calls from applicants/customers and Merchant partner locations using a tracker, while documenting all expressions of dissatisfaction in our system of record.
  • Ensure daily work is completed in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
  • Adhere to Call Quality and Operational standards and expectations.
  • Assist with any additional duties required to meet business line needs.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Quick learner with the ability to acquire new knowledge and concepts rapidly.
  • Efficiently and effectively identify and resolve issues for customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate through difficult situations.
  • Team player.
