Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant- SysAdmin on-Prim Win & Azure

The Azure Virtual Desktop Architect will contribute to technical planning, design, development/integration, and verification/validation of customers VDI and AVD environment.

Windows Systems Administrators, are responsible for installing, managing, and upgrading Windows-based systems and servers within a company. They are also responsible for managing data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the system.

Responsibilities

  • Exposure on State Data Center / National Datacenter / AWS / Azure or other Cloud operations
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Office 365.
  • Expertise in programming languages used in Azure, including JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL server.
  • Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers
  • including but not limited to management of users, processes, resource contention, preventive
  • maintenance and management of updates & patches to ensure that the system is properly updated
  • Re-installation in the event of system crash/failures
  • Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing
  • rectification measures
  • Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for maintenance of the
  • infrastructure
  • Management of the usernames, roles and passwords of all the relevant subsystems, including, but
  • not limited to servers, applications, devices, etc.
  • Implementing security on the Internet and Intranet
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate
  • automation processes
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and
  • related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Install and configure software and hardware
  • Manage network servers and technology tools, Set up accounts and workstations
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages, Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade/ patching of systems with new releases and models time to time.
  • Maintain code repository server and access configuration
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure, application and database backup.
  • Configure and Maintain Server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery
  • Web / Mobile Application release management activities on staging and production server
  • Managing and deploying Azure solutions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving Azure services-related issues
  • Configuring Azure services to meet the needs of the organization
  • Designing and managing swap space in the cloud environment
  • Maintaining azure profiles and subscriptions
  • Setting up private and public cloud environments
  • Balancing and deploying workloads
  • Implementing and managing cost-effective cloud systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$80,000 to $100,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicants experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
