Assistant Property Manager


Job Details

Under the direction of the Community Manager, responsible for the assistance of the overall management of the assigned property to satisfy the requirements of client and to meet the financial objectives of the client.

The hours associated with the position requires a flexible schedule:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays: 9 am - 5 pm

Wednesdays: 12-8 pm, to assist homeowners after a workday

Saturdays: 9 am - 1 PM to assist homeowners outside of regular business hours.

Position Responsibilities

Aids in the communication between the Community Manager, board members and residents

Assists with the oversight, bidding, renewals, and specifications of contracts

Participates in the monitoring of property inspections and violations

Aids in the preparation and tracking of regular maintenance programs for client communities

Assists the Community manager with creating the annual operating budget of client communities

Under the direction of the Community Manager, issue statement of accounts to delinquent owners

Assist the Community Manager in organizing newsletters, website news, e-mail and letter correspondence to board members and residents. Sending notifications and welcome packages where necessary

Performs administrative tasks and general office duties

Assist the property manager in the planning and organization of monthly board meetings

Essential Skills & Education/Experience Requirements

  • Property Management experience a plus
  • Experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Enthusiastic attitude and an engaging business- like approach
  • Strong computer skills
  • Detail oriented and organized individual
