Description
Assists Patient Financial Services management to identify and resolve problems relating to Customer Service Rep / Patient Financial Services Business Office
Job Summary:
Answers incoming calls in bright and cheerful manner. Takes responsibility in resolving patient concerns on the spot if at possible.
Acts as liaison between PFS and outside vendors and addresses issues such that productivity is maximized for both.
Processes bankruptcy, estate accounts and fills request for itemized bills in a prompt, timely and accurate manner.
Prepares and files refund requests.
Accurate and thorough documentation of pertinent events regarding the handling of the account including researching prior accounts.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum three years' experience in a medical billing office or in the customer service field required. Basic computer skills required.
