They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Inspector to oversee inspection on transportation projects across NY. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge transportation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections on Roadway/Highway, Roundabout, Traffic signal and Bridge
- Monitor and document construction progress, including materials used, workmanship, and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure project milestones are met.
- Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Work on medium and large projects as part of the inspection team
Requirements:
- Roadway/Bridge Inspection experience
- Any Inspection experience with ITS or Traffic Signals will be advantageous
- Proven track record of transportation projects of varying size and complexity.
- Certifications with DOT, CTQP and/or ACI
