Akkodis is seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technicians for several full-time roles in the Melbourne/Palm Bay, FL area. Qualified candidates require prior manufacturing assembly and testing along with US Citizenship to allow for necessary security clearance. 1st shift with the likelihood of overtime.
Pay Range: $28-34/hr (commensurate based on experience level)
Manufacturing Engineering Technician job responsibilities include:
- Support of spacecraft structures to include subassembly manufacturing.
- Limited supervision of manufacturing while integrating deployable mesh reflectors.
- Perform mechanical assembly and testing of space hardware.
- Performs system-level alignments to meet system requirements.
- Field support for spacecraft integration and precision alignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma. Any relevant certifications are beneficial.
- Greater than 3 years of professional experience within a manufacturing/test/assembly environment.
- Experience working with micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to see small parts with or without magnification assistance.
- Stellar interpersonal skills.
