Summary

Performs assembly operations and delivery of consoles by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Keep shop floor and tools clean and orderly – ready to show.
  • Maintain tools and equipment purchased for company use.
  • Observe and enforce all applicable OSHA safety rules and maintain a safe working environment. Keep safety glasses, work gloves and other safety gear ready and available for use.
  • Report immediately any accidents or security issues to the Shop Lead or Operations Manager
  • Support and foster continual process and product improvement.
  • Receives, inspects and processes deliveries in accounting software and stages accordingly.
  • Keep inventory clearly labeled and stored in proper areas.
  • Pull parts per Project BOM and stage prior to assembly and notify Shop Lead or Operations Manager of any material issues.
  • Assemble the product in accordance with BOM and approved production drawings.
  • Pack orders in accordance with delivery method guidelines.
  • Coordinate outgoing shipment details with Project Manager/Operations Manager
  • Perform onsite installations. Requires some travel and overnight stay. (25 – 50 %)
  • Document and photograph production/fabrication/installation process for document archival.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Language skills in Spanish are an asset.
  • Must be apply for and receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential, TWIC card.
  • Must be able to pass drug tests and participate in required random programs that are conducted via a third party per client guidelines/regulations.
