Job Title: Facilities Manager


Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager with extensive project management experience in overseeing maintenance teams within a large-scale manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical services, and hardware maintenance.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring smooth functioning of manufacturing processes.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate and oversee all repairs, upgrades, and installations of plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical services, and facility hardware.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce standards throughout the facility.
  • Manage facility budgets, expenditures, and cost-saving initiatives effectively.
  • Plan and execute facility improvement projects, expansions, and renovations as required.
  • Monitor and report on facility performance metrics and KPIs to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in facilities management within a large manufacturing facility, with a focus on project management and team leadership.
  • Proven track record in managing plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical services, and hardware maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Certification in facilities management (e.g., CFM) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with environmental health and safety regulations.
