Overview
The Business Development Coordinator (BDC), under the mentorship of the Vice President for Business Development and Innovation at GCE, will benefit from hands-on experience in crafting business and marketing plans and enhance their employability through direct exposure to industry practices and potential employment opportunities with GCE. Specifically, the BDC will contribute to the creation and execution of business and marketing strategies for a new line of screen printing and embroidery, in collaboration with our partner, Spectrum Designs of Port Washington, NY.
This position is part of the University of West Florida's Workforce Development Program (beta), aimed at offering multidisciplinary undergraduate students from various colleges a platform to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects.
Role Requirements
- Education:
- Must be a full-time UWF student within the Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation or Business Administration undergraduate programs.
- Experience:
- This position is intended for a student in the final year of their undergraduate program.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to provide 30-40 hours of work during the Summer 2024 session and 20 hours per week Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 sessions.
Travel Requirements: Travel by car, rail, and/or domestic air may be required. The percentage of time traveling will vary widely based on the circumstances.
