We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team.


Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our chemical formulation production lines, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong leader with a solid background in chemical manufacturing, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead and supervise production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Production Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute daily production schedules to meet output targets.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure that all products meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production staff.
  • Ensure all equipment and processes comply with environmental and safety standards.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Prepare and present regular production reports to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical formulation processes and production equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.


Working Conditions:

  • This position may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
  • Must be able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to hazardous materials and conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
