Hyannis Country Garden is recruiting for Cashiers, both full and part-time. In this role, you will be responsible for processing Point of Sale transactions and the sale of products for the company. Work is performed in an indoor/outdoor environment.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:**
- Operate computerized Point of Sale cash register to process sales transactions.
- Interact with and greet customers.
- Research customer's interests and preferences and direct them to products and solutions.
- Explore and resolve customer questions or concerns.
- Develop product knowledge of all store departments and provide verbal tours of property.
- Maintain stock, organization and cleanliness of register terminals.
- Utilize customer accounts database and rewards program functionality.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer.
- Uphold company standards and expectations as stated in policy manual and training card program.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or its' equivalent.
* Previous cashier experience, preferred.
* Working knowledge of retail sales.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good ability to interact with the public.
