Healthcare projects is ideal but not required.
We are looking for a Mechanical HVAC Designer to join our team as an effective team player who can help major healthcare institutions build technically challenging facilities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively develop and assist with project designs under the direction of the lead mechanical engineer
- Collaborate and coordinate with other trades
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of local and national building codes
- Minimum of 4years experience designing HVAC systems in high performance buildings
- Understand industry trends
- Experience leading HVAC teams on technically challenging projects, working in dynamic team environments
- Proficient in engineering software for design, documentation and coordination software (e.g. Trace, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD)
- Commitment to sustainability is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
