**Delivery Technician (Driver)**
Operations Remote, Colorado Minimum Experience **Experienced** Compensation **$200+/day** DELIVERY TECHNICIAN (DRIVER) JOB SUMMARY
A TriBike Transport (TBT) Delivery Tech is expected to perform a variety of duties as part of their professional responsibilities. In addition to performing pick-ups and deliveries and driving assigned routes, Delivery Techs will assist with on-site Event Activation.
TBT Delivery Techs are not required to have a CDL but must comply with all USDOT regulations. TBT Delivery Techs must demonstrate an ability to safely drive a truck ranging in size from a 15-foot van with a loading ramp, to a 26-foot straight truck with a lift gate. TBT will train all Delivery Techs regardless of experience on both DOT regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Delivery Techs are responsible for pickups and deliveries in a designated geographic area. Pickups are made at local bike shops and Delivery Techs routinely interact with local shop employees as a part of their job. In most cases Delivery Techs will be on the road for 2-10 days at a time. At any given time, a Delivery Tech will be responsible for multiple bikes destined for multiple events throughout the U.S. On occasion, Delivery Techs may be asked to attend an event to assist in on-site Event Activation.
During Event Activation, TBT Delivery Techs are most often the first and only direct contact with TBT customers, and therefore serve as the face of the company. At events, Delivery Techs unload and rack bikes systematically to enable easy and efficient customer pick up. Delivery Techs may be asked to perform any number of customer service related tasks while at an event. Following the event, Delivery Techs will receive bikes from customers and reload trucks for return transport.
Compensation & Provisions
TBT provides rental trucks, fuel, hotel accommodations, a company tablet, and a daily pay rate. Our daily pay rate varies by experience and region, but most of our Delivery Techs make $200+ per day as well as a standard per diem rate (reimbursed following the trip). Delivery Techs are employees of TBT and are not independent contractors.
Skills and Requirements
* Ability to drive 8-10 hours in a day.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead to load and unload bikes and gear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* Comfortable working seated/driving, or on your feet for extended periods of time.
* Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment during Event Activation, which includes unloading/loading bikes, setting up TBT corral, servicing customers, and other customer facing duties.
* Comfortable working directly with customers at events.
* Comfortable with using a tablet/smartphone (company provided) to manage inventory, and time/expense software on the road.
* Valid drivers license and US Passport required.
* Simple mechanical knowledge of bicycles and bicycle repairs is a plus, but not a requirement.
