Job Details

The Sales Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities pertaining to the sale of equipment.

Essential Functions:

  • Acts as the primary contact for internal and external customers, Sales Force Team, Demo, Loaner, RPO, and Sales Representatives
  • Coordinates equipment for Demo, Loaner, RPO, and Sales
  • Certificate of Insurance (COTI) management and assists sales representatives with COTI documentation
  • Reconciles bi-monthly inventory in a timely manner
  • Schedules delivery and pick-up of inventory
  • Directs and monitors product health loaner process
  • Maintains the appropriate stocking level of Work Tools
  • Initiates credit release requests as needed
  • Creates call-off documents for internal hauled equipment
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of construction equipment sales industry
  • Knowledge of business accounting principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Intermediate computer and related software applications skills
  • Intermediate MS Office Excel and PowerPoint skills; Advanced MS Word skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional manner
  • The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences


Education and Experience:

  • Less than one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None


Travel:

  • Up to 5% travel maybe expected


Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets,
  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lb
  • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work


Work Environment:

  • Regularly works indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
  • Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
