Staff Accountant / Analyst

A healthcare services provider specializing in mobile shared service programs is hiring a Staff Accountant / Financial Analyst to join the finance team. This role is a combination of Accounting and Financial Analysis work. Fantastic opportunity for a Staff Accountant looking to gain hands-on financial analysis experience.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks of Financial Analyst:
- Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements for assigned entities/partnerships to identify trends anomalies or data inconsistencies.
- Maintain regular communication with sales and operations teams to update them on financial statement fluctuations or issues.
- Address and resolve physician inquiries promptly and thoroughly.
- Prepare financial information packets for physician presentations as required.
- Participate in physician calls, offering support for inquiries and conducting necessary research.
- Assist in various accounting reconciliations and ad hoc projects as assigned by the finance department.
- Support the budgeting process specific to assigned entities when needed.
- Depending on partnerships/territory, conduct additional analysis and reporting beyond monthly reviews.
Qualifications of Financial Analyst:
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in General Ledger accounting (Experience in Partnership Accounting is advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Navision ERP and Adaptive is preferred but not mandatory.
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Positive team player with a proactive attitude.
