Description

Position Overview

  • The Parts Clerk is responsible for maintaining parts inventory, parts ordering, receiving parts, driving to getting parts locally, maintaining inventory and stock, supply ordering, setting up vendor accounts, signing out parts, and kitting parts for maintenance PM's. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources, manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our bottling Plant. Schedule:

The Parts Clerk is a full-time position. The hours for this position are 6:00am- 6:30pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday & rotating Wednesday every other week. The Parts Clerk will receive a 5% hourly pay differential.

Schedule Example:

Week 1- Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:00am- 6:30pm = 36 weekly hours

Week 2- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:00am- 6:30pm = 48 hours (8 hours of overtime)

Essential Job Functions:
  • Inventorying parts and supplies for the Maintenance Department and Operation
  • Ordering spare parts and supplies for the Maintenance Department
  • Ordering supplies for the Production i.e., hair nets, earplugs, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.
  • Creating a min/max supply stock
  • Ordering critical spares
  • Checking parts in and out of inventory
  • Kitting parts for PM's
  • Organization of the Parts Room
  • Driving and getting parts needed from local suppliers
  • Setting up and maintaining supplies at off-site locations
  • Allocating parts and cost to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain safe & clean work areas and comply with all safety requirements
  • Consistently meets internal/external customer expectations through teamwork, respect, positive and effective communication, and a willingness to help and support others
  • Participate on improvement teams and coordinate with engineers and vendors on special projects
Requirements
  • Active Drivers License & reliable vehicle (the company will reimburse mileage weekly)
  • 1 year of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word experience preferred
  • Organized, strong attention to detail required
  • Ability to maintain and track inventory of parts
  • Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to distinguish and identify different products by reading labels
  • Reliable vehicle is required (candidate will receive mileage reimbursement)

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a GED/high school education (preferred); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
