Flooring Installer

Warnike Carpet & Tile is currently seeking full-time and part-time Flooring Installers to join our team at our retail store in Milan, Ohio. We provide residential and commercial flooring installation service throughout Northeast Ohio.

Pay: $15.00-$30.00/hour based on skill level
Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities include:

• Tear out of existing surfaces
• Lifting of 50 plus pounds
• Prep work for flooring installation including but not limited to applying appropriate underlayment, surface leveling, and mixing of adhesive compounds
• Measuring and cutting material to appropriate lengths
• Use of wet /dry saws
• Limiting the amount of waste for cuts
• Professional installation of custom tile and porcelain slab showers including seats, ledges, and built-in niches
• Professional installation of floors in a variety of sizes, patterns, and layouts
• Professional installation of tile backsplashes in a variety of patterns and layouts
• Professional installation of fireplace resurfacings with ledger stone or other tile materials
• Professional installation of large format tile
• Professional installation of solid and engineered hardwood
• Professional installation of LVP and LVT
• Grouting and cleanup after job completion
• Keeping all tools organized and clean

Requirements:

• Flooring installation experience is required
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to multi-task, think ahead, problem solve, and manage time effectively
• Basic math and measuring skills
