Admin/Marketing Specialist
- Voice of the organization as the main person to answer the phones and greet customers
- Partners with the Leadership Team and other internal and external stakeholders for the
- overall execution of various types of events; including webinars, in-person continuing
- education events, horse shows, and conferences.
- Manages timelines, budgets, event plans, logistics, materials, shipping, etc for all events.
- Manages speakers, sponsorships, continuing education credits, and other logistics for
- various events.
- Apply creative thinking to solve problems, remove roadblocks for the team, and
- successfully move past unexpected issues.
- Help with various administrative and office duties as needed, including answering the
- phone, creating mailers, organizing the office, recording meeting minutes, and assigning
- tasks after meetings
- Using brand guidelines and templates, designing social media graphics, ads, event
- flyers, pop-up banners, and other marketing-related materials
- Assist with copywriting for newsletters, emails, social media and other marketing needs
- Utilizes HubSpot's reporting tools to provide regular insights and reports on KPIs and
- marketing effectiveness.
- Administrative support for the Leadership and Sales teams, including calendar
- management, travel arrangements, order processing, and other administrative tasks.

- Understanding and experience with logistics for conferences and other events
- Understanding and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Intrinsic entrepreneurial drive with the ability to create order from chaos

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment in the face of many
- competing priorities demonstrated in previous roles

- Superb written and oral communication skills, ability to influence and support others,

- Ability to manage data, a high level of proficiency in excel and related project
- management/g-suite tools
Helpful experience and skills:
- Google Drive and Microsoft Office experience required
- Extremely flexible team player
- Start-up experience
- HubSpot or other CRM experience
- Previous experience with executive assisting and communication a major plus
- Animal lover and knowledge of veterinary practices
