POSITION SUMMARY

Performs designated tasks that assist the Department Manager/Director to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Assures customer satisfaction throughout the facility. Performs a wide variety of clerical duties, greets patients, and performs regular housekeeping duties to ensure smooth operation of the department.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

o A minimum of a high school diploma is required. (GED)

EXPERIENCE

o A minimum of one year of medical secretarial work experience is preferred.

o Ability with spelling and grammatical accuracy and proofread as necessary to produce high quality documents.

o Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing, and database software, such as Microsoft Office programs.

o CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment
