This role will be focused on maintaining technical drawings and models for production products. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :Create and revise part and assembly drawingsCheck dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of parts to each other, and relation of various parts to the whole systemProduce drawings, layouts, and/or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, design concepts and/or verbal instructionsDraft detailed multi-view 2-dimensional drawings and create 3-D modelsDraw finished designs from sketchesMaintain and organize the drawing systemEnsure all necessary documentation is complete such as engineering prints and related product specifications to allow successful transfer to manufacturingCommunicate with internal and external customers regarding new or revised printsRequirements:Associate Degree in Drafting/CAD Technology.Proficient in SolidWorks with 2-5 years of experience designing surfaced models for molded parts.Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and work well with all team members.Have the ability to be self-directed.Other Skills/AbilitiesSolidWorks certification is preferred, but not required.PPE RequirementsSafety glasses when inside production areas.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
