What's a typical day as an Environmental Waste Program Coordinator? You'll be:
Generating waste profiles and consolidating waste at end-user facilities.
Conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions for deficiencies.
Maintaining waste packing and sampling supplies inventories.
Coordinating and scheduling waste shipments, including preparation of required paperwork.
Ensuring regulatory compliance with RCRA inspections, waste shipments, and generator logs.
Performing waste sampling collection, preparation, and chain-of-custody for waste characterization.
Providing technical support and assisting with other related duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have 1-3 years of experience in waste-related and/or environmental operations.
Are organized and detail-oriented.
Have knowledge of DOT, RCRA, and Mass DEP regulatory practices.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Are knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Have current 40-hour HAZWOPER, DOT, and RCRA training or the ability to pass courses upon hire.
