The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks involving the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Handle emergency repairs of production equipment during operations and perform scheduled maintenance during machine downtime.
  • Rebuild Baird presses, eyelet machines, and equipment in the tool room.
  • Perform tasks typical of a machinist.
  • Read and interpret critical documents such as equipment logs, documentation, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Conduct routine tests and qualifications on equipment and document the results.
  • Report any suspicious or hazardous conditions to a supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure quality and safety by following all relevant CBI policies and procedures.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.
  • Perform basic welding.
  • Carry out simple sheet metal fabrication tasks.
Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
