We are looking for a supply chain specialist to join our client's team in New Orleans! This person will have purchasing experience, third-party vendor management, Department of Defense compliance standards knowledge, and experience purchasing and overseeing supply chain efforts of custom parts or raw materials would be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to support procurement requirements, developing and implementing vendor management programs to ensure that suppliers meet the necessary quality, delivery, and cost requirements, ensuring that all procurement activities are in compliance with DOD regulations and policies, sourcing and procuring a variety of custom parts and raw materials, and overseeing the supply chain process from end-to-end, including procurement, production, and delivery. This includes identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing process improvements, and ensuring that all supply chain activities are conducted in accordance with best practices.
