Overview:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Site Work Crews.
This position is for a Heavy Equipment Operator who's primary job will be operating an Excavator in a safe, efficient and productive manner. The ideal candidate will also be proficient other equipment such as Bulldozer, Skid Steer, Loader, Roller, Etc. Pay will be based on experience and versatility. We work within a 30-40 mile radius and are home every night and this position will be offered as both full-time seasonal or full-time year-round. Year round employees would be part of the plow crew and assist with maintenance.

Summary of Qualifications:
Ability to operate equipment such as an Excavator, Bulldozer, Skidsteer, Vibratory Roller, Grader, Backhoe, etc. in a safe and efficient manner
Having a Class A license is preferred but not required.
Minimum 3 Years of Experience
Be able to meet the physical demands of the work

Summary of Expectations:
You will be expected to take good care of the equipment you operate and communicate with the shop personnel to keep the machines in good order.
You will be expected to be professional, exercising care, expertise, and efficiency in all that you do with a positive attitude.
You will be expected to be a team player with the ability to follow directions and also participate in keeping the work flowing during busy times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 55 per week

Experience:
The ideal candidate is versatile with all equipment but is proficient with 160-210 size excavators and 450-550 size dozers. With excavators, the ideal candidate would have experience installing pipe, using grading buckets to dig foundations, subgrade parking lots and roads, and shape landscape areas. The ideal candidate also has experience finegrading parking lots, roads, and sidewalks with track skidsteers.
Dozer: 5 years (Preferred)
20 TN+ Excavator: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
