JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Recommend modifications to manufacturing processes (Engineering Changes or sketch changes) in conjunction with other engineers in order to improve quality and/or manufacturing cycle times.
* Assist with developing solutions to manufacturing process problems and/or new customer requirements.
* Develop material/cost analysis comparison between alternative solutions.
* Work with other engineers, CAD drafters, manufacturing department supervisors, and technical buyers to develop and/or improve workable manufacturing processes.
* Improved quality and/or manufacturing cycle times through ECN"s, sketch changes, and/or program changes.
* Material/cost analysis comparison between alternative solutions created as required.
* Workable manufacturing processes created in a timely manner (in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineer(s)).
* Create CAD sketches for manufacturing operations based on rough sketches provided by Manufacturing Engineer(s)
* Create CAD sketches for outside process operations as specified by Manufacturing Engineer(s) and/or Q.C. Department.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
* At least 4 years of cnc programming experience
* Knowledge of process related standards
* Experience in process development with CNC manufacturing background
* Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations
* Solid Works skills
* Aerospace Experience
* Excellent technical skill
* Excellent analytical skills
