What you will be doing: - Managing the logistics and warehouse departments and overseeing the product shipping areas
- Coordinatingwith other departments to meet supply demands
- Working with Production to plan their production schedule, and working with QA on hold times/spaces
- Project planning, budgeting, staffing, training, and setting objectives
- Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to3 direct reports
- Using Microsoft Exceldaily
- Ensure timely transportation of products to customers, and communicating with customers as needed
What you bring to the table: - 3-5+ years of relevant logistics experience (food manufacturing experience an asset)
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Thorough understanding of logistics best practices
- Strong communication skills (required to communicate with different departments, customers, and direct reports)
- Previous supervisory or management experience
