Position Overview
Cut out and assembles fiberglass hulls, decks and small parts
Installs hardware components, bilge system, water, hydraulic and fuel fittings, hoses, tanks and connections
Performs electrical assembly of consoles, installs and connects electrical wiring and components
Uses a variety of hand and power/air tools, saws, grinders and other tools as necessary
Follow specific job instructions, frequently reading and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion
May include handling and application of sealants, adhesives, and primers, along with proper disposal

Requirements:
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to work in a hot environment
Wear required PPE that may include gloves, safety glasses, aprons and chemical resistant suits, and safety shoes.
Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Ability to work a 10 hour shift standing, bending, climbing and reaching
Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
No allergies to fiberglass or chemicals used in this process

Desired Skills
Must be able to use basic hand, power and air tools applicable to the job
Must be able to work with a team to accomplish departmental goals
Must follow safety standards and procedures including chemical handling and PPE
Must be dependable and punctual.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Previous marine experience preferred
Must be able to adhere to quality and efficiency standard
