PER-DIEM WORK AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY- $17.15/HR
The Alburgh Welcome Center in Alburgh, Vermont is looking to hire per-diem employees with great customer service skills and a love for tourism. Responsibilities include:
Providing both regional and statewide information and/or direction to motorists.Including but not limited to, accommodations, events, restaurants, attractions.
Complete all mandatory tourism and safety trainings required by the State
Welcome visitors who enter the center by saying hello with the goal of encouragingthem to ask for any needed assistance.
Be present at the desk at all times unless performing the duties.
Replenish brochures during each shift and maintain a safe, organized workplace.
Maintain a coffee station brew and replenish coffee and supplies as needed.
Perform janitorial services to maintain a clean and safe facility including cleaning the restrooms once per shift and touching up as needed.
The Alburgh Welcome Center is open seasonally from May to October, Thursdays through Mondays from 9am to 5pm. The ideal employee will be able to cover weekdays and some weekend shifts when needed.
