Urban Outfitters is searching for a Home Decorate Buyer. The Buyer is responsible for creating an exciting and timely product assortment for our omni-channel business that meets or exceeds the sales volume and profits for their respective departments. They are to execute the vision of the DMM / Leadership and intuitively respond to customer feedback, market trends and sales performance. The Buyer is responsible for the success of their business unit and is expected to use their fashion intuition to direct the assortment. Role Responsibilities Merchandising Develop a compelling assortment, based on store and direct strategies that meet/exceed sales volume and profits Expand product line to enhance appeal to target market. Analyze velocity reports and respond to current trends as appropriate Ensure key fashion trends are well represented in the assortment.
