Job Details

Job Summary

Provides administrative support to the HR Manager in various functions, including recruiting, employee engagement, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, employee records, and safety. This roles will also assist in other administrative duties as tasked by the General Manager.

Reporting To

Human Resources Manager

Essential Job Function

  • Address employee inquiries regarding attendance, paid leave, payroll and benefits.
  • Assist HR Manager in recruitment efforts, including updating job descriptions, posting jobs to internal and external boards, reviewing resumes, hiring and onboarding.
  • Assist HR Manager in reviewing timesheets and approving biweekly payroll.
  • Provide guidance to employees on how to navigate HRIS (UKG).
  • Plan, manage, and implement employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain employee records, both paper and electronically.
  • Safety Coordinator duties including creating and updating the safety program, manage the safety committee and OSHA trainings.
  • Generate reports from HRIS (UKG), as needed.
  • Assist in other administrative tasks, such as uploading labor tickets or manufacturing certificates.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration required. Minor or concentration in HR, preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience working in administrative or data entry work, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
