Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC (KAES) is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our IT/Operations team. This role will be instrumental in supporting and optimizing the organization's core applications, working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and drive strategic solutions. The successful candidate will lead change, solve problems, and refine processes across the fleet, collaborating with clients to translate their needs into actionable directives for the development team. Additionally, the candidate will oversee user acceptance testing and training, ensuring the seamless integration of new solutions. This position requires adept problem-solving, thorough data gathering, and effective communication and collaboration with peers, stakeholders, and trusted vendors.

This will role will be based out of our headquarters in Wichita, KS.

What You Will Do

  • Act as a point of contact for application-related inquiries, issues, and enhancements
  • Gather and analyze requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, identifying solutions and implementing changes
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for application-related problems, ensuring timely resolution
  • Conduct system analysis to recommend improvements for enhancing application performance, usability, and reliability
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement application changes and updates, including IT, software developers, and end-users
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the integrity and functionality of applications
  • Stay informed of latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to application support and business analysis


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on application support and analysis
  • Experience in managing all aspects of solution delivery, including requirements gathering, scope definition, resource planning, and risk management
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously across the fleet
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, if required, based on project assignments


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience working in an agile work environment with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Experience supporting and working in the asset management and work management space
  • Experience influencing, collaborating, and presenting with leaders, users, and stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Experience using SQL for data reporting and analytics
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or data lakes
  • Experience with IBM Maximo, or other EAM
  • Experience with plant operations, and/or plant automation
  • Experience supporting Plant Turnarounds
